A single-element three-range spectral splitter

This paper discusses the possibilities of spectral splitting based on the optical properties of certain crystalline materials. A design has been developed for an objective that consists of a single optical element that divides the spectrum into three ranges, located at the windows of transparency of the atmosphere.
