Shipments of liquid nitrogen dewars in fiscal 2021 included 80 large cryopreservation containers(100 ￡ or higher,stainless steel)to record the same level of shipments as last year,2,400 small cryopreservation containers(100 ￡ or less,aluminum)to drop 4%,and 2,800 small transporting containers,again essentially the same as last year.In terms of products,dry shippers used for shipping are selling well.Cryopreservation dewars are used for regenerative medicine development,shipping of reagents and cells,storage of sperm and egg cells for infertility treatment,and other applications,making demand itself extremely solid.However,many users are large companies or public institutes,who are sensitive about virus counter-measures.If Covid-19 spreads,investment plans will be delayed.
