The evolution of high performance, high strength, technical polymers and fibres has enabled workplace hand protection to come a long way in a relatively short space of time. But even as fibre technology has increased the level of mechanical protection on offer, concerns have been growing over a number of limitations in the current EN 388 test process, with the unease focusing on cut resistance performance data.
