Valves and Joints Up 50 in 2021 Good demand for semiconductor manufacturing equipment

The 2021 market for valves and joints in Japan grew greatly at 50% year on year in 2021 to reach ￥55 billion.That achieves double-digit growth for two consecutive years and a record breaking ￥50 billion for the first time.The main demand in gas supply systems in semiconductor manufacturing equipment was exceptionally good,leading to this performance.Valves(diaphragm,bellow,and ball)are estimated to have reached around ￥42.3 billion,while joints are estimated to have totaled ￥12.7 billion.
