China's Diesel Output Hits New High in October

China's apparent oil demand rose for a second consecutive month to 14.18 million barrels per day in October, as refi ners increased their crude throughput to push diesel output to new highs as they took advantage of generous export quotas. Energy Intelligence calculates China's apparent oil demand as the sum of the country's refi nery throughput and its net imports of 11 different refi ned products (see table).
