Rio de Janeiro-Brazilian crude oil output rebounded in May as state-led producer Petrobras completed maintenance work at floating production, storage and offloading vessels pumping crude from the prolific subsalt region, the National Petroleum Agency, or ANP, said Monday. Brazil produced an average of 2.653 million b/d in May, an increase of 4.5% from the 2.539 million b/d produced in April, the ANP said. May's output was up a more-robust 6.7% from the 2.487 million b/d produced in May 2016, the ANP data showed.
