I think it is safe to say that 35 years ago, some Red River Valley potato growers pulled off the best publicity stunt in the history of this association.On November 26, 1985, a semi full of Red River Valley Potatoes pulled up to Yankee great Yogi Berra's house in Montclair, New Jersey, just outside of New York City. There the two drivers started unloading the 23 tons of spuds onto Yogi's front yard!
