摘要

The contact between the contact wire and the pantograph wearingserves to transmit the current between the catenary and the vehiclepantograph by means of a sliding contact mechanism .This contactresults in electricallosses and mechanical wear. The parameters andthe relations that influence the wear characteristics of the contactwire and wearing strip are discussed in detail because they are thefundamentals for a systematic further development of the contactwire/pantograph system.
