"It was the best of times,it was the worst of times."It was certainly the worst time for a hurricane to hit.US economic growth has been one reason for tight oil markets,along with Chinese growth.So rising oil prices were,in a way,a sign of economic health.But rises in oil demand have outpaced supply capacity growth,lining up the world for some sort of oil shock.Hurricane Katrina was the shock.A slow-burning demand-led energy crisis has now,suddenly,turned into a full-blown supply crisis unlike any seen before.
