Forecast of changes in Russian and Ukrainian currency markets

The USD/RUB exchange rate has been in the equilibrium area of $1 = RUB 60?61 since August, with fluctuations seen in late September and the first half of October due to the influence of temporary factors. However, closer to the end of the year, the rate may weaken due the sanctions restricting Russian oil supplies coming into force in December, with a new stabilization of the exchange rate to follow.
