Despite the end of the grain season, the cargo traffic has resumed growing in the Azov Sea, primarily due to an upturn in shipments of Russian coal ahead of the entry into force of sanctions against Russian exports: At the moment, owners are already seeking to get high $50s/t for transportation of 3-5,000 t of coal from Rostov or Yeisk to Bulgaria, while charterers are ready to pay low $50s/t (some of them even more, though); Up to 3,000 t of coal are carried from Rostov ab to Bulgaria at $57/t (equivalent to $4.5k daily bss RV for vessels with AWRP required or $5.7k daily without AWRP);
