Forties goes east again

Asia-Pacific refiners are again buying North Sea light sour Forties crude. BP has booked the tanker Al Salmi to load 2mn bl of Forties at Hound Point on 10 March, bound for South Korea. And a large European trading firm has sold 2mn bl of March-loading Forties to a South Korean refiner. At least 6mn bl of Forties loaded in January and February, also bound for South Korea.
