Turkish ferroalloy market slows amid modest consumption

Turkish consumers were barely bidding for ferroalloys in January. Prices for Indian SiMn (65 Mn; 16 Si) were heard at $1,090-1,130/t CIF ($1,065/t CIF in December), and FeSi (75 Si) was quoted at $1,615-1,780/t CIF. Prices for Iranian and Russian alloy were heard at the bottom end of the range, while the costlier alloy was supplied from China.
