March 3 marked the kick-off of the largest ever green electricity reverse auction by the Estonian state, which will bring 650 GWh of green electricity, equaling the consumption of around 215,000 households, to the market, BNS, a Baltic newswire, reported on March 3. In order to accelerate the deployment of new production capacities, only new generating equipment can participate in the reverse auction.
