Investments worth €1.4bn into wind energy are underway in Slovakia

According to the data of the Slovak Association of the Photovoltaic Industry and RES (SAPI) projects worth €1.4bn and producing 1,116 megawatts (MW) of power are in various stages of preparation in Slovakia. With five existing wind energy power plants of a combined 3 MW, Slovakia is the last among the EU member states in terms of wind energy use.
