Exports support gasoline

Refining margins strengthened, boosted by sharp gains in gasoline. Gasoline demand buoyed naphtha and seasonal buying lifted jet fuel margins. Diesel margins slipped under pressure from rising supplies. Demand to export gasoline to the US supported regional refining margins, with the US summer driving season well under way. Margins rose to their strongest since September 2012. Buoyant demand from the Middle East and within Europe provided additional support.
