1. North Sea crude fell under $50/bl for the first time in five and a half years on pressure from slow demand and oversupply. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated dropped to $49.25/bl, down by $9.82/bl from three weeks earlier. US marker February WTI fell by $5.57/bl to $48.79/bl over the same period.
