WA government allocates Pilbara land for new projects

The projects in the Boodarie and Ashburton North Strategic Industrial Areas (SIA) are valued at A$70 billion, according to the government. The Boodarie SIA is about 4km west of South Hedland and 12km south of Port Hedland. The companies allocated land in the SIA are POSCO, Fortescue Metals Group, Alinta Energy, Tees Valley Lithium and BP.
