Novozymes/Chr Hansen agree merger: 13 December 2022

Danish biotechnology company Novozymes (Copenhagen) has agreed to acquire peer business Chr Hansen (Horsholm) to form a combined global biosolutions group. Through the exercise, the duo looks to meet the growing customer demand for biosolutions. The parties intend to leverage Novozymes' background in enzymes and the latter's expertise in microbials to expand the new entity's global footprint.
