FMC/Micropep join hands for biological weed control

FMC has forged a strategic collaboration with French agricultural biotechnology business Micropep Technologies (Toulouse). The parties are to focus on developing biological solutions to control herbicide-resistant weeds affecting maize and soybeans. The exclusive multi-year agreement involves the partners combining their research and development capabilities and leveraging Micropep’s technology to accelerate and enhance the success rate in identifying bioherbicides.
