The MOP market remains seasonally slow and prices have continued to fall. Prices for 62pc white MOP dropped to Yn2,800-2,900/t ex-warehouse in eastern China, down by Yn200/t from last week. Prices reached Yn2,700-2,800/t exwarehouse in the northeast region, dampened by low-priced cargoes delivered via cross-border trade. Suppliers cut prices to attract more deals but the market expects prices to fall further thanks to ample supplies and continued weak demand.
