Brazil grants first stage OK to PHC PREtec peptide technology

Brazilian authorities have granted a first stage of regulatory approval for commercial use of US-based, UK-listed bioproducts company Plant Health Care’s (PHC - Raleigh, North Carolina) latest proprietary PREtec (plant elicitor response) peptide technology. The Ministry of Agriculture has accepted the submitted studies demonstrating the efficacy of PHC68949 and approved the conditions for its use on soybeans, PHC says.
