Embrapa/Bayer researchers study and map herbicide resistance in Brazil

Researchers from the Brazilian agricultural research corporation, the Embrapa, and Bayer’s Crop Science division are studying production systems for resilience to herbicide resistance in Brazil. They have also mapped regions in the country for the presence of resistance to herbicides. Activities have been under way across the country on cotton, maize, pastures, soybeans and wheat, since 2017. The work has included detecting the presence of resistance to herbicides in different weeds.
