5 Health and safety: the state of play -HSB's latest biannual review of HSE, government and other initiatives around occupational health and safety from 5 October 2021 to 3 May 2022, and preview of likely developments over the next year. Recent months have left employers with limited and inadequate advice on work-related COVID-19 issues after the government removed all restrictions and protections. The period also saw the government ratchet up its rhetoric and plans around the mythical Brexit "dividend", and significant progress on the new building and fire safety regime as well as towards a solution for funding the removal of unsafe cladding.
