NGO report finds sufficient alternatives to ban glyphosate in the EU

An NGO report has found that it is possible to ban glyphosate in the EU because there are sufficient alternatives to the controversial herbicide substance for controlling weeds. The study, which was published by the Pesticide Action Network (PAN) on 9 March, claimed that glyphosate could be replaced for all uses by safer non-chemical methods.
