EU farming ministers demand more support to help agri-food sector deal with inflation

European farming ministers are expected to ask for more EU support to help their farmers and food producers cope with inflation at an upcoming meeting. At the Agriculture Council on 30 January, the ministers of 13 EU member states will urge the European Commission to come up with “ambitious proposals” to ensure the competitiveness of Europe's agri-food sector.
