MEPs hear plea for EU to ban force feeding in foie gras production

Speaking to Parliament's Intergroup on the Welfare and Conservation of Animals at its 16 February meeting on the sidelines of the Strasbourg plenary session, Adolfo Sansolini, Consultant at Belgian animal rights group GAIA and Advisor at Eurogroup for Animals explained that force-feeding of ducks and geese in foie gras production was already outlawed in most EU member states.
