Non-circular pipe profiles offer flexible solutions

Pipe systems manufacturer HOBAS' Non-Circular (NC) Pipe Systems are used to create every shape of pipe profile but round - including eggs, kites, jaws, elongated, and even with dry-weather channels - in diameters ranging from man-sized to crawl-through. NC pipes can be used to rehabilitate or newly construct non-circular systems and are manufactured using the filament winding method, which builds the layers from inside to out. Once a highly resinous inner pipe layer is applied onto the individually manufactured mandrel (form), the winding process for building the wall begins and is finalized with a sturdy sand-filled protective layer. Three recent NC installations in Austria, Bulgaria, and Germany illustrate how the installation process works.
