Resgen misses funding close for Boikarabelo yet again

ASX and JSE listed junior Resource Generation (Resgen) has once again missed the deadline to achieve funding close for its Boikarabelo colliery in the Waterberg coal fields, and is now targeting an end August close. Resgen failed to meet a “sunset date” of 30 June for completion of the ZAR4.2bn ($247m) funding package for the mine which had been agreed with the major lenders in December last year and has since renegotiated a new “sunset date” of 30 September.
