Triple choice to prove compliance

Annex VI allows forthree methods of proving compliance with the NOx emission regulations: the engine parameter check, simplified measurement or direct measurement, and monitoring. All certified engines must be delivered with a technical file that contains the engine's specifications for compliance. The engine parameter check requires that all components and operating settings on the engine remain as they were when the engine was tested for certification.
