CMA CGM reinstates cancelled ship

South Korean shipbuilder Hanjin HI reported to its stock exchange that a container ship newbuilding originally cancelled in February has been reinstated. The yard confirmed that hull N205, part of a four-vessel order placed in 2006 by CMA CGM, will be delivered to the Marseille-based liner operator on 31 August, as originally planned. The CMA CGM Maupassant is a 6,500teu post-Panamax vessel currently fitting out at Hanjin's Busan facility and was ordered for $105M. It was contracted with three other vessels, the CMA CGM Corneille, CMA CGM Kessel and CMA CGM Lamartine.
