Where next for LNG?

When the Methane Pioneer, converted from a general cargo ship, made its maiden trip in 1959, LNG's future was very much an unknown quantity. Today, new reserves are being discovered almost daily, expanding the estimates of LNG's ability to satisfy world energy demand. Most experts agree that at least 100 years worth of LNG is available at current production levels.
