Metal futures: Markets point down again

Base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly lower in Wednesday's official morning session, extending Tuesday's losses, except for nickel which edged higher after falling from multi-year highs earlier in the week. Copper was the biggest mover in today's session with the three-month LME contract falling 1.7pc to $9,527.50/t. In the US, Comex's next most active month copper contract shed 1.2pc to close at $4.33/lb.
