Markets mixed on inflation concerns

Base metal price movement on the London Metal Exchange (LME) was largely mixed in today's official morning session amid rising inflation concerns ahead of testimony by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. The three-month LME copper contract was virtually unchanged at $9,349/t, while Comex's next most active month copper contract lost 0.9pc to close at $4.27/lb. Aluminum was the biggest mover with the three-month LME contract rising by 1.4pc to $2,526.50/t.
