Hph Buys Into Amsterdam

Hong-Kong-based Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) has acquired majority control of Amsterdam's Ceres Paragon Terminal (CPT) and Ceres Amsterdam Marine Terminals (CAMT). In exchange, Ceres Container Terminals Europe (CTE), the holding company of both port facilities, has obtained a minority interest in HPH's mighty ECT in Rotterdam. While no figures have been revealed, local sources say that HPH now controls 80% of CPT and NYK has 10% of ECT.
