Relationships in the frozen and chilled sector of the logistics business are changing. At least that is what companies like Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel, Panalpina and Damco would have you believe. After all, they see a business sector in which the consignee/consumer is becoming more powerful than the supplier as offering them more value-added read higher price service opportunities. Meanwhile, the logistics companies are exercising their increasing influence in the shipping industry to help effect this change and bring to the cold supply chain, the same level of efficiency and cost-competitiveness that prevails in the standard dry container sector.
