Carus drives digital abilities with double veterinary data, technology acquisition

Carus Animal Health has captured two firms in the technology and data space with the acquisition of Medi-Productions and Veterinary Insights. Medi-Productions is a France-headquartered digital communications firm that provides its VisioCare Suite andthe MyBuddy Pet app to veterinarians and pet owners.The VisioCare Suite consists of: -VisioCare TV - a veterinary clinic reception communication system designed to provide educational, animated videos and messages about pet health on a TVscreen in the waiting room area;-VisioCare Consult - an exam room communication tool for use on tablets and on computers via an online web app, that enables veterinarians to illustrate diagnostic and treatment options to animal owners using interactive 3D animations and videos; and-VisioCare Home - software that enables vets to add home care content for pet owners to their practice website, comprised of VisioCare animations and videos.
