The Cross-Bridge Double Row Technique for the Repair of Medium and Large Tears of the Rotator Cuff

We developed a new technique for double row fixation, which consists of a "cross" and "bridge" fixation using standard suture anchors. By this technique, we aim to achieve better contact surface area of the rotator cuff footprint. We have tested this technique in our biomechanical lab and it showed a significant increase in the surface area over other previously used techniques. We have used this technique in over 150 patients. The clinical data will be published at a minimum 2 year follow up.
