Pipeline work limiting Urals shipments from Primorsk.

Ongoing work on a Transneft crude pipeline that moves Urals crude to the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk has limited Urals exports. The port averaged 4.2MM mt (30.8MM bbl) of Urals exports over the first five months of this year. The start of maintenance on the pipe lowered exports to 2.7MM mt (19.8MM bbl) in June. Exports are expected to rise to 3.4MM mt (24.9MM bbl) this month, but the average export figure over the first five months of the year is not expected to be reached until after Aug. The work is related to converting the crude pipeline to move diesel.
