US: Freescale and Tilcon to jointly develop automotive graphical display solutions

FREESCALE Semiconductor has announced that it has teamed up with Tilcon Software to deliver new platform solutions for the telematics industry. According to the company, the combined hardware/software solutions can enhance graphic display performance, speed time to market and reduce system cost for embedded system developers. Under the programme, Freescale's Media5200 processor platform will be integrated with the Tilcon Interface Development Suite (IDS), a multi-platform graphical user interface (GUI) technology.
