School Nurse 121 Campaign

I was lucky enough to be invited to speak at a school nurse event in London recently. It was well attended by school nurses and commissioners, so pitching the talk was a bit tricky.All the school nurses were keen andpassionate, and knew exactly what their role was and how to be effective in improving children's health outcomes. However, judging by comments and questions from the floor, some of the commissioners were there to find out what the evidence is for school nursing and didn't really understand the idea of whole child public health. I'm sure some of you find the same locally. There is quite a dearth of health economics facts and cost benefit analysis around school nursing, as so few academics have been interested recently.
