We're finally in the month of the Unite-CPHVA annual professional conference, and this issue, you'll find a teaser of what's to come in Bournemouth on 17 and 18 October. First, The big question on page 17 asks if you see a positive future for SCPHNs. At conference, representatives from the four UK countries, including the CNOs for Wales and Northern Ireland, will discuss the challenges and solutions from their country. On page 39, the needs of adoptive families, and how you can help, are examined. One of the contributors, Sabrina Purse, will be presenting her paper on adoptive families and the role of the HV at conference. Finally, on page 48, Philomene Uwamaliya discusses how you can promote a rights-based approach to asylum-seekers. Philomene will be delivering the Nick Robin Memorial Lecture at conference on the rights and wellbeing of asylum-seekers and refugees.
