As automated driving functions become increasingly popular, the importance of safe and smooth transfers of driving control from human to vehicle and vice versa is growing. With this in mind, ZF, Faurecia and fka have jointly developed a concept that helps to improve mode awareness in automated driving vehicles by utilizing clear states and multimodal signals.
