Field Test: High Charging Power, Many Errors

Battery electric vehicles are the future. At least as far as the political will in Europe is concerned – and especially so in Germany, as one of the world’s leading car producers. Politicians in this country are pioneers when it comes to the idea of phasing out the sale of internal combustion cars by 2035. These are to be replaced by Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). Over the next 15 years or so, direct electric mobility is to become the main method of private transportation. Whether and how this plan succeeds will, of course, also be determined by the new German government that takes over after the end of the Merkel era. At?the same time, there is ongoing criticism about whether this strategy is preventing a form of future mobility that is open to all kinds of technology.
