ATZlive Automotive Acoustics Meets New Mobility

In the era of new mobility, an increasing variety of highly complex innovations ranging from electrified vehicles and autonomous driving to intelligent communication systems are driving technological development within the automotive industry at an unparalleled pace. They are also giving rise to growing expectations concerning the acoustic performance of vehicles. To guarantee comfortable levels of NVH in the future, developers not only have to accommodate the changes resulting from alternative driving modes and new types of powertrains, but also have to focus on new areas of vehicle acoustics, such as big data and artificial intelligence. It goes without saying that improving and accelerating measurement analyses and simulation methods will remain at the heart of the technical discussions. The 2021 online version of this conference, which will be held in English only, will consist of two sessions on successive days in order to accommodate the different time zones. Alongside a total of 12 technical presentations, this year’s event also includes virtual networking areas and exhibition spaces involving leading suppliers in the field of NVH.
