J. Martin Leland III, M.D., has joined us as Associate Editor for Technology, a new position created in response to the rapidly developing and ever-changing technology of social media. Dr. Leland is assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Chicago. He graduated With Distinction from the University of Virginia with a bachelor of arts in biology, going on to earn his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. His residency in orthopaedic surgery followed at the Albany Medical Center after which he returned to Jefferson for his clinical fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine.
