Chronic radiation exposure: Small-dose effects

摘要

This special issue of the Journal includes papers and expanded abstracts based on the presentations made by the contributing authors at the IV International Conference "Chronic Radiation Exposure: Low-Dose Effects," which was held in Chelyabinsk (Russia) on 9-11 November 2010. The Conference was organized by the Urals Research Center for Radiation Medicine (URCRM) and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) and was conducted under the auspices of the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR), the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP), the European Commission, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the U.S. Department of Energy (U.S. DOE).
