WFDB General Assembly Convenes in Moscow for World Diamond Congress

Members of the General Assembly of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) gathered in Moscow at the 34th World Diamond Congress, which was held from Sunday, July 11, to Tuesday July 13. At its conclusion, the WFDB called on the industry to internalize the lessons learned during the global financial crisis of the past 18 months. WFDB President Avi Paz urged members to continue implementing fiscally smart policies such as a greatly reduced dependence upon memo sales and a reluctance to extend lengthy terms of credit.
