In this issue we are running not two but three interviews. One is with naturalist and sea-life advocate James Spotila (whose book on saving sea turtles has also been abstracted for this issue). Peter Lewis discusses the new hope for democracy now being raised by the dramatic expansion of mobile communications services throughout Africa. And Seang-Tae Kim outlines some of the ways South Korea is expanding its national broadband capabilities and upgrading e-government offerings to serve a society of "the most skilled computer users in the world."
