In summary, technology continues to advance as it has since the majority of the population in America and other developed countries worked on single-family farms, and even back to the beginning of history; and we can expect that it will advance indefinitely into the future. As it does, it will make life better for most people, but government also will use the technologies to become more efficient and to extend its control over people.
